HURON — A full slate of activities is set for Huron on July 4, with something for everyone.

With the downtown Dakota Ave. construction, some things have changed for this year’s celebration.

The vendor fair is set for Prospect Park, beginning at 10 a.m.

Lineup for the parade will also begin at 10 a.m., in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church parking lot, with the parade starting at 10:30 a.m.

The parade route will head east from Holy Trinity, to Dakota Ave., turn north on Dakota to 18th Street, then turn east and continue to Idaho Ave.

The post-parade BBQ will begin in Prospect Park at 11:30 a.m., with live music by Leo Jensen.

The day will conclude with fireworks - over both Ravine Lake and at Lake Byron - at 10 p.m.

Vendor fair and parade entry forms are available at the Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau, located at 17th and Dakota Ave., south.
