SIOUX FALLS — Runners from Huron and Miller participated in the Augustana Twilight Meet on Friday at Yankton Trail Park.

Juan Gonzalez of Fremont (Neb.) edged Mikah Peters of Brandon Valley for the top spot in the boys’ varsity race.

Gonzalez had a winning time of 14:34.48, while Peterson finished at 15:06.27.

Pierce Baumberger was the top area finisher. He ended in spot No. 89 in the 521-runner field at 16:37.35.

TJ Lien led Huron with a time of 17:30,.43, which put him in spot No. 169.

Harrisburg teammates Brianna Reilly and Hannah Genrich were first and second, respectively, in the girls’ varsity race. Reilly finished at 17:03.32, followed by Genrich at 17:13.23.

Madeline Nye of Miller was the top area runner, finishing in spot No. 81 in the 325-runner field at 20:08.93.

Josie Vlieger led Huron with a time of 21:19.20 to finish 163rd, while teammate Lily Swanson was 190th at 21:50.18.
