Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, James Valley Christian 0
FORESTBURG — The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks rolled to a 3-0 win over the James Valley Christian Lady Vikings Thursday night in 281 Conference volleyball action.

Set scores for the Blackhawks were 25-6, 26-24, and 25-15.

Kaylie Robinson notched 10 kills for the Blackhawks who also got five kills from both Liz Boschee and Alexa Goertz.

Kenzie Schley had four aces and eight assists and teammate Kali Hofer had 10 assists and three aces in the match.

Addi Bartholow led the defense with nine digs.

For the Lady Vikes, Addison Kleinsasser and Ella Anderson each had four kills and Eliana Van Scharrel had a pair of aces.

Kaitlyn Stahl collected 18 digs to lead the defense.

Both SC/W, which improves to 10-6, and JVC, which falls to 0-9, are in action Saturday in the 281 Conference tournament in Wessington Springs.

Aberdeen Roncalli 3, Clark/Willow Lake 0
ABERDEEN — The Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers posted a 3-0 upset win over the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones Thursday night in volleyball action at the Roncalli High School gym.

Set scores for the Cavs were 25-17, 25-21 and 27-25.

Shay Michalski had 12 kills, an ace and a pair of blocks for the Cyclones, which fall to 12-5. Shelby Begeman had six kills, while Sami Brendon handed out 20 set assists.

No stats were available for Roncalli, which improves to 6-6 with the win.

The Cyclones host Great Plains Lutheran in Clark on Tuesday.
