Huron tennis falls to Rapid City Christian

HURON — The Huron Tiger tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to the Rapid City Christian Lady Comets Thursday afternoon at the Huron High School Courts.
The Lady Comets took the match win, but the scores showed a tight competition.
Huron won the first and second flight singles matches, as AnneClair Rubish took the No. 1 match from Riley Geyer, 10-5, and Say Glay earned a 10-8 win over Katie Palmer.
The other four singles matches all went to RCC, with all matches of 10-6 or closer.
Things went to the Lady Comets in the doubles, by scores of 10-2, 10-5 and 10-8.
Huron is back in action today and Saturday at the Madison Invitational, featuring most of the top Class A teams in the state.
