ABERDEEN — The Huron Tigers middle school girls’ basketball teams traveled to Aberdeen Tuesday, but dropped three of four contests.
Eighth grade
Aberdeen took the A game, 33-29. Lennon Magness-Caudell led Huron with 11 points. Maggie Storm added 10 points.
Claire Davis scored five points for the Tigers, and Reagan Bischoff added a 3-point basket.
Huron dropped the B game by a 22-18 score. Kinsley Armstrong led the way with 13 points for the Tigers.
Charleigh Brewer had three poingts and Kayleigh Nicola added two points.
Seventh grade
Huron won their sole victory of the day in the seventh grade “A” team, winning 32-31.Ramsey Rozell and Jayla Schley led the way for the Tigers, scoring 15 and 13 points, respectively.
Arian Pfitzer added four points for Huron.
Aberdeen dominated the “B” game, 23-4. Jesse Mattke and Laney Marshall each had two points.
Huron will travel to Brookings Thursday.
