WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Wesley Molnar threw for three touchdowns to help Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central, which is ranked No. 4 in Class 11B, to a 30-0 victory against Chamberlain on Friday.
Molnar had scoring strikes of 42 yards to Colby Flowers, 11 yards to Ryder Michalek and 68 yards to Sam Poncelow. He finished 8 of 17 passing for 206 yards.
Flowers had a pair of catches for 68 yards and Poncelow had two catches for 102 yards.
Grant Edwards had the other two touchdowns for the Blackhawks. He scored on runs off 29 and 4 yards.
Edwards carried the ball five times in the game for 50 yards, while Bryce Larson led the way with 11 carries for 62 yards.
Defensively, Flowers had four tackles and a sack for W/WS/SC. Nathan Gaikowski had six tackles and an interception, while Dawson Larson had an interception.
The Blackhawks will close the regular season against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton on Friday in Mt. Vernon.
