BROOKINGS Mitchell cruised to a 34-6 victory agains the Huron eighth-grade girls basketball team in the opening round of the Big 4 Tournament on Tuesday.
Lennon Magness-Caudell led the Tigers with five points.
Watertown edged Huron 18-14 in the third-place game.
Maggie Storm led the Tigers with nine points.
The event closed the season for the eighth-grade girls team.
