HURON The annual BelieveFest school supply giveaway, sponsored and hosted by Faith Alive Church, will take place beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3.
This years event will follow the same drive-through distribution operation as in previous years. Vehicles are to line up on Frank Ave., SE, and turn west onto 26th Street, toward the church. Volunteers will direct traffic into the church parking lot for the distribution.
Please remain in your vehicles. Distribution begins at 9 a.m. and will continue until all supplies are gone.
Last year, yearly 1,000 backpacks, filled with school supplies specific to grade level, were given away to families in the Huron community.
