HURON Yankton earned a 30-20 victory against Hurons eighth-grade football team on Tuesday.
Carter Porisch had a pair of touchdowns for the Tigers. He scored on a 68-yard kickoff return and a 1-yard run.
Josh Gilbert had Hurons other touchdown on a 2-yard run. He also connected with Malcom Williams for a conversion.
Gilbert led the Tigers with 13 carries for 70 yards. Williams had three catches for 31 yards.
Defensively, Noah Hofer had six tackles and an interception for Huron. Gilbert had five tackles and an interception, while Porisch had four tackles.
The Tigers, who are now 2-3, travel to play Aberdeen on Tuesday.
