HURON As the South Dakota Legislature convenes session today, a reminder that the first Coffee with the Legislators is set for Saturday, Feb. 1, beginning at 9 a.m. in the commission room at City Hall.
District 22 Representatives Kevin Van Diepen and Lana Greenfield as well as District 22 Senator David Wheeler will be present to field questions from the public.
The Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau Governmental Affairs Committee hosts the coffee sessions throughout the legislative session, with sponsors such as South Dakota Farmers Union and AARP providing coffee and doughnuts.
