YANKTON The Huron girls wrestling team was 12th during the Yankton Invitational Girls Tournament on Friday.
Canton won the 30-team event with 176.5 points, while Pierre was second at 161. Rounding out the top five were Watertown at 133.5, Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon at 110.5 and Rapid City Stevens at 103.
The Tigers, who had four placewinners, finished with 49 points.
Chalie Sah was third for Huron at 107 pounds, while Say Glay was sixth at 132.
Paola Fernandez Fernandez was seventh for the Tigers at 165, and Reva McGaugh was eighth at 114.
Huron hosts the ESD Tournament on Thursday.
