Wolsey-Wessington 60, Mobridge-Pollock 54
WARNER The Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds scored their 15th victory of the season on Saturday at the Warner Classic over the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers, 60-54, but it didnt come easy.
The Warbirds jumped out to a big 21-10 lead after the first quarter, but the Tigers caught up to cut the Warbird lead to 32-30 at half before the two teams exchanged runs in the second half, though the Tigers were never able to take control of the game.
Moshe Richmond led the Warbirds, now 15-4, with 20 points before fouling out in the final quarter. Caleb Richmond added 15 and Lars Tvedt put in 10 for the Warbirds.
Kale Knudson bucketed 16 points to lead Mobridge-Pollock (11-7). Jackson Eisemann added 11 and Shane Henderson put in 10 points for the Tigers.
The Warbirds return to Warner Friday to close the regular season against the Monarchs.

WARNER The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots played a consistently strong game to come away with a 50-39 victory over the Jones County Coyotes Saturday at the Warner Classic.
Devin Enander scored 16 points and Patrick Maynard had 15 to lead the Patriots, now 6-13.
The Coyotes fall to 7-12. Jace Nix had a game-high 26 points to lead the way.
The Patriots close the regular season on the road at Northwestern Friday.

REDFIELD The Redfield Pheasants picked up just their second victory of the season Friday, defeating the Tiospa Zina Wambdi 74-66 in Redfield.
The Pheasants were either behind or tied at each quarter break, trailing 59-55 coming into the final period before outscoring the Wambdi 19-7 in the final quarter to get the victory.
Ruben Alvarez led Redfield, now 2-17, with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Grady Hulscher hit five threes as part of 19 points for the Pheasants, and Austin Snell added 13.
Ashden Sierra led Tiospa Zina (2-15) with 27 points, including five threes. Devon Bluehorse chipped in 11 points while Isaac Rodlund and Blake Dumare each had 10 points.

BOWDLE The Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders got 21 points, including five three-point baskets, from Trey Thieman in a 47-44 road victory over the North Central Thunder in Bowdle Friday.
Jerome Big Eagle and Isaac Hauge each added eight points for the Crusaders, now 4-11.
The Thunder fall to 6-11. Isaiah Heilman scored 14 points off the bench to lead North Central.
SBA hosts Iroquois/Lake Preston Friday to close out the regular season.

WILLOW LAKE The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones picked up a victory Friday over the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers, 54-43, in Willow Lake.
The Cyclones bounce back from a tough loss to fifth-ranked Hamlin on Thursday by scoring the upset over the Panthers Friday, leading at every quarter break of the game.
Brynn Roehrich was the only double-figure scorer for the Cyclones, now 11-8, with 18 points. Eight CWL girls put points on the board.
The Panthers fall to 14-5. Myra Lentz put in 17 points, including five 3-point baskets, and Madeline Prahl added 14 for Great Plains Lutheran.
The Cyclones close out the season against Florence/Henry on Tuesday.

BOWDLE The North Central Thunder jumped out to a 19-2 lead after one quarter and didnt let up in a 49-25 victory Friday over the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders in Bowdle.
Amree VanderVorst knocked in 21 to lead North Central (14-4), including a perfect 8-for-8 from the line. Ella Batie added 13 points.
Breanna Thieman led SBA with nine points. Abby Hinman and Ciera Mickelson each added six points for the Crusaders, who finish the regular season at 4-15.
North Central took the junior varsity game, 33-9.
The Crusaders begin the postseason today at Ipswich.
