Brandon Valley blanks Huron tennis

BRANDON Brandon Valley recorded a sweep against the Huron girls tennis team on Monday.

The closest the Tigers came to earning a singles win was at No. 3, where Ellie Puterbaugh suffered set losses of 6-4 and 6-2 against Kielah Floyd.

Floyd and Keera Krieh escaped with 7-5 and 6-3 set wins to claim the No. 1 doubles match against Hurons Idella Meyer and Chalie Sah.

The Tigers will close the regular season at the Eastern South Dakota Conference Tournament on Monday and Tuesday in Yankton.
