Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 2
WOONSOCKET Sanborn Central/Woonsocket escaped with a 3-2 victory against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Thursday.

The Lady Blackhawks won the first two sets 26-24 and 25-12 to build a 2-0 lead. T-D/A rallied with set wins of 25-11 and 25-18 to force the tiebreaker. SC/W claimed the match with a 15-11 win in the fifth set.

Liz Boschee had 23 kills and seven blocks to lead the Lady Blackhawks, who improved to 15-7. Addison Bartholow had 15 kills, while Cami Edwards added eight kills.

Bartholow also had three ace serves, while Kalie Hofer and Addi Baruth each had an ace. Hofer also recorded a team-high 23 assists, while Baruth had 16 assists.

Hudson Fouberg and Bartholow each had 25 digs, while Edwards had 15 digs and Kenzie Baruth had 12 digs.

Mia Reiner led Tripp-Delmont/Armour with 20 kills, while Sara Bertram had nine kills, a team-high 26 digs and five ace serves.

Leah Dewald had 23 digs and three aces, while Kinley Spaans had 40 set assists.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will host Howard in Forestburg on Monday.

Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Miller 2
TULARE After recording 25-18 wins in the second and fourth sets, Hitchcock-Tulare used a 15-10 win in the fifth set to get past Miller on Thursday.

The Rustlers had 25-21 and 25-23 wins in the first and third sets, respectively.

Rebecca Huizenga had 13 kills on 24 of 35 attacks to lead the Lady Patriots, who improved to 21-4. Cora Hofer had 11 kills on 57 of 64 hitting, while Gracyn Bixler was 135 of 141 setting with 28 assists.

Emmerie Arthurs was 19 of 22 serving with a pair of aces for Hitchcock-Tulare, while Cambree Hoekman was 18 of 18 with an ace. Hoekman also had a team-high 29 digs, while Arthurs had 18 digs and Olivia Knox had 16 digs.

Hofer had two solo and four assisted blocks for the Lady Patriots, while Laina Puffer had four assisted blocks.

Paige Werdel led Miller with 12 kills on 40 of 52 attacks, while Kate Lichty was 29 of 33 with 10 kills. Racen Werdel was 155 of 156 setting with 27 assists.

Kaihlyn Anderberg was 12 of 17 serving with a pair of aces for the Rustlers, while Emma Pugh 20 of 21 serving with an ace. Jolie Palmer had 34 digs, while Pugh had 13 digs.

Hitchcock-Tulare hosts Langford Area on Tuesday in Tulare. Miller plays at Platte-Geddes on Tuesday.

MILLER Sanborn Central/Woonsocket recorded a sweep in a 281 Conference match against Sunshine Bible Academy on Tuesday.

The Lady Blackhawks won the match with set scores of 25-16, 25-11 and 25-11.

Addison Bartholow had 11 kills and four aces to lead Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Liz Boschee had nine kills and three blocks, while Cami Edwards had three aces.

Kalie Hofer tallied 11 assists for the Lady Blackhawks. Edwards had six digs, while Kenzie Baruth and Hudson Fouberg each had five digs.

Ciera Mickelson was 27 of 30 attacking with nine kills for SBA, while Tessa Hinman was 7 of 13 with three kills. Breanna Thieman was 9 of 11 with two aces, was 19 of 19 setting with three assists and had seven digs.

Kalyn Sarchett was 22 of 24 setting with four assists for the Crusaders, while Dakota Boersma had a team-high 10 digs.

Miller 3, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton 0
MILLER Using set scores of 25-21, 25-16 and 25-23, Miller swept Mt. Vernon/Plankinton on Tuesday.

Paige Werdel had11 kills on 21 of 27 attacks for the Rustlers, who improved to 13-6. Emma Pugh was 15 of 22 with nine kills, while Kate Lichty was 22 of 25 with eight kills and Kaihlyn Anderberger was 23 of 28 with seven kills.

Anderberg also had three aces on 9 of 13 serving for Miller, while Gracen Werdel was 16 of 17 with two aces and Paige Werdel was 10 of 11 with an ace.

Gracen Werdel had 33 assists on 110 of 112 setting for the Rustler. Jolie Palmer was 20 of 23 passing with 21 digs, while Paige Werdel and Pugh each had 13 digs.

Warner 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 1
TULARE Warner, which is ranked No. 3 in Class B, claimed a 3-1 victory against Hitchcock-Tulare, which is receiving votes in the Class B rankings, on Tuesday.

After dropping the opening set 25-19, the Monarchs put together set wins of 25-10, 25-23 and 25-23 to claim the match.

Jaycee Jung was 45 of 48 with 14 kills to lead Warner, while Olivia Marcuson was 20 of 22 with seven kills. Reagan Wood was 17 of 18 serving with three aces and had 20 assists on 76 of 77 setting. Tatum Hanson had a team-high 24 assists on 89 of 90 setting ad was 19 of 20 serving with two aces.

Jung had a team-high 31 digs for the Monarchs, while Keira Steger had 19 digs.

Rebecca Huizenga had 14 kills on 36 of 40 attacks to lead Hitchcock-Tulare, while Cora Hofer was 40 of 43 attacking with nine kills. Gracyn Bixler converted won 139 of 143 sets with 30 assists.

Oliver Knox, Bixler and Emmerie Arthurs each had an ace serve for the Lady Patriots. Knox was 18 of 18 serving, while Bixler was 15 of 16 and Arthurs was 15 of 15.

Cambree Hoekman tallied 35 digs for Hitchcock-Tulare, which is now 20-4, while Bixler and Arthurs finished with 19 and 18 digs, respectively. Hofer had three solo and four assisted blocks.

De Smet 3, Iroquois/Lake Preston 0
DE SMET With set wins of 25-27, 25-12 and 25-17, De Smet swept Iroquois/Lake Preston on Thursday.

Hazel Luethmers had 18 kills and three blocks to lead the Lady Bulldogs to the win, Brooke Jennings had eight kills, while Ivey Schoenfelder had five kills.

Megan Dylla had a team-high 32 assists and three ace serves for De Smet, which is now 12-6. Jennings had two aces and Gemma Luethmers had an ace.

Aubree Blue had 19 digs to lead the Lady Bulldogs defensively, while Hazel Luethmers and Jennings had 11 and nine digs, respectively.

Brityn Davies and Alisa Hope had six and fifth kills, respectively, to lead Iroquois/Lake Preston, which is now 6-15. Sydney Bonomi had 16 assists.

Bentlee Holton and Bonomi each had two ace serves for the Lady Sharks. Hadlee Holt had a team-high 13 digs, while Bentlee Holton, Davies and Bonomi each had nine digs. Bentlee Holt had a pair of blocks.
