IPSWICH – The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots coasted to a three-set sweep on the road at the Ipswich Tigers on Thursday, winning with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, and 25-20.

The Lady Pats move to 23-4 behind a balanced attack, with Rebecca Huizenga leading hitters with 12 kills on 24 of 27 hitting. Cora Hofer added eight kills on 25 of 27 hitting and added three solo and two block assists.

Gracyn Bixler set up the Patriot offense with 28 assists, had six kills, and was 16 of 16 serving. Emmerie Arthurs led the defense with 15 digs.

Marley Guthmiller led Ipswich (19-5) with eight kills on 46 of 51 hitting and was also 8-for-8 serving with an ace.

Hitchcock-Tulare hosts Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday in Hitchcock.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Kimball/White Lake 0
WOONSOCKET Sanborn Central/Woonsocket recorded a sweep against Kimball/White Lake on Thursday.

The Lady Blackhawks won the match with set scores of 25-20, 25-14 and 25-15.

Addison Bartholow had 15 kills and four assists to lead Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Liz Boschee added 10 kills, while Cami Edwards and Kenzie Baruth had four and three kills, respectively.

Kali Hofer had 13 assists, while Addy Baruth had 11 assists for the Lady Blackhawks. Hudson Fouberg had a team-high 16 digs, while Hofer had 15 digs and Bartholow tallied 14 digs.

Rylee McCord led Kimball/White Lake with four kills and two aces. Sienna Gillen had 20 digs, while Mariah Gosmire had nine assists and three blocks.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket plays Hitchcock-Tulare in Hitchcock on Tuesday.

James Valley Christian 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 2
MILLER James Valley Christian escaped with a 3-2 win in a 281 Conference matchup against Sunshine Bible Academy on Thursday.

The Lady Vikings claimed the match with set scores of 22-25, 24-26, 25-20, 31-29 and 15-12.

Kaitlyn Stahl was 38 of 43 hitting with 10 kills for JVC. Eliana Van Scharrel and Nave Gross each had seven kills.

Stahl was 19 of 20 serving with an ace for the Lady Vikings. Gross had a pair of aces on 12 of 12 serving, while Van Scharrel had two aces on 16 of 18 serving.

Dara Olowu-Davies converted on 134 of 135 sets with four assists for JVC.

Janiyah Waldner had 16 digs, while Addison Kleinsasser had five blocks.

Ciera Mickelson led Sunshine Bible Academy with 13 kills on 48 of 52 attacks.Dakota Boersma was 22 of 31 hitting with seven kills, while Soleil Mickelson had six kills on 29 of 36 spikes.

Kalyn Sarchet and Breanna Thieman finished with 9 and 8 assists, respectively, for the Lady Crusaders. Sarchet was 36 of 40 setting, while Thieman was 43 of 45.

Boersma finished with 33 digs for SBA, while Ciera Mickelson had 22 digs.

James Valley Christian plays at Wessington Springs on Tuesday, while Sunshine Bible Academy hosts Wolsey-Wessington on Tuesday.

Webster Area 3, Redfield 2
WEBSTER Using a 15-13 victory in the fifth set, Webster Area pulled out a 3-2 victory against Redfield on Thursday.

Webster Area won the opening set 28-26, with Redfield rallying for a 25-17 win in the second set. The Bearcats regained control with a 25-23 win in the third set, before the Pheasants forced the fifth set with a 25-19 win to even the match at 2-2.

Hayden Gall had 13 kills on 25 of 33 attacks for Redfield. She also recorded three aces on 23 of 25 serving and was 99 of 100 setting with 20 assists.

Kinly Smith was 25 of 28 hitting with nine kills for the Pheasants. She also had five solo and 10 assisted blocks.

Mady Morrissette was 17 of 18 serving with an ace for Redfield, while Layla Hardie was 57 of 59 setting with 14 assists. Katryn Evans had 39 digs,w hile Gall finished with 23 digs.

Redfield will participate in the Miller Invitational today.
