Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Wessington Springs 0
HITCHCOCK Hitchcock-Tulare, which was ranked No. 4 in Class B, closed the regular season with a sweep against Wessington Springs in 281 Conference matchup on Tuesday.

Cora Hofer had 10 kills on 25 of 31 attacks for the Lady Patriots, who improved to 26-4. Emmerie Arthurs had nine killson 14 of 15 hits, while Rebecca Huizenga was 16 of 21 with five kills.

Gracyn Bixler converted on a 72 of 73 sets with 29 assists for Hitchcock-Tulare. Arthurs had a pair aces on 6 of 7 serving, while Avarie Estey was 19 of 20 serving with an ace, Olivia Knox was 14 of 14 with an ace and Cambree Hoekman was 13 of 14 with an ace.

Estey had a team-high 13 digs for the Lady Patriots, while Knox and Arthurs finished with 11 and 10 digs, respectively. Huizenga had a solo and two assisted blocks.

Kaitlyn Braun and Raygen Teveldal each had two kills for Wessington Springs. Braun was 18 of 22 attacking, while Teveldal was 17 of 21.

Logan Mohling was 59 of 64 setting with eight assists for the Lady Spartans, whiel Kenzie Kolousek was 32 of 34 with two assists. Mohling was 14 of 14 serving with an ace, while Kolousek was 10 of 11 serving.

Remie Roduner tallied 30 digs for Wessington Springs, , while Mohling had 27 digs.

Hitchcock-Tulare will host Waubay/Summit in the Region 1B Tournament quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Hitchcock.
Wessington Springs will host James Valley Christian on Monday in a Region 2B Tournament play-in game at 7 p.m.

Miller 3, Highmore-Harrold 0
HIGHMORE Miller, which is receiving votes in the Class A rankings, closed the regular season with a sweep against Highmore-Harrold on Tuesday.

The Rustlers, who improved to 22-7, had set wins of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-17.

Olivia Nye had eight kills on 15 of 16 attacks to lead Miller, while Paige Werdel was 22 of 25 attacking with seven kills.

Jolie Palmer was 16 of 18 serving with five aces for the Rustlers, while Nye was 9 of 10 with an ace. Gracen Werdel was 21 of 22 setting with 24 assists and had a team-high eight digs, while Nye had seven digs.

Jada Baloun and Jaylee Fallis each had three kills for Highmore-Harrold, which ended the regular season at 15-12. Baloun was 8 of 9 attacking, while Fallis was 7 of 8.

Addison McDonnell was 8 of 9 serving with a pair of aces for the Pirates. Carly Stephenseon was 8 of 8 with an ace.

Tenley McDonnell and Stephenson each had six assists. Tenley McDonnell was 30 of 30 setting, while Stephenson was 32 of 32.

Lainee Ping and Destiny McCauley had 11 and eight digs, respectively, for Highmore-Harrold.

Miller is the top seed for the Region 6A Tournament and will face either Chamberlain or Crow Creek at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Miller.

Highmore-Harrold is the third seed in Region 6B and will host sixth-seeded Sully Buttes in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton 1
FORESTBURG Sanborn Central/Woonsocket recorded a 3-1 win against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton on Tuesday to close the regular season.

After dropping the opening set 25-17, the Lady Blackhawks put together set wins of 25-19, 25-21 and 25-17 to secure the match.

Addy Bartholow had 25 kills to lead Sanborn Central/Woonspocket, while Liz Boschee had 14 kills. Kali Hofer had 23 assists, while Addison Baruth finished with 11 assists.

Cami Edwards had four ace serves for the Lady Blackhawks, while Bartholow had a pair of aces and Hofer had an ace.
Kenzie Baruth and Hudson Fouberg each had 20 digs for SC/W. Hofer had 19 digs, while Boschee and Edwards each had 11 digs.

Madalynn Lorang led Mt. Vernon/Plankinton with 23 kills and 23 digs. Layce Bruns had 17 assists, while Addisyn Everson had two blocks.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, which is 18-9, is the No. 6 seed for the Region 3B Tournament and will face third-seeded Colman-Egan at Bridgewater-Emery at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (9-19) will travel to face Bon Home in the Region 5B Tournament at 7 p.m. Monday.

Redfield 3, Tiospa Zina 0
REDFIELD Using set wins of 25-12, 25-2 and 25-12, Redfield closed the regular season with a sweep against Tiospa Zina on Tuesday.

Hayden Gall had 1o kills on 16 of 18 swings to lead the Pheasants, who improved to 10-16. Kinley Smith was 9 of 11 hitting with six kills and had seven aces on 22 of 22 serving.

Layla Hardie had 20 assists on 27 of 27 setting and was 13 of 14 serving with five aces for Redfield. Gall was also 17 of 17 setting with seven assists and was 4 of 4 digging, while Katryn Evans was 3 of 5 digging.

Redfield is the fifth seed for the Region 1A Tournament and will face fourth-seeded Britton-Hecla in the quarterfinals at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Aberdeen.

Iroquois/Lake Preston 3, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 1
IROQUOIS Iroquois/Lake Preston closed the regular season with a 3-1 victory against Oldham-Ramona-Rutland on Tuesday.

The Lady Sharks, who improved to 11-19, won the match with set scores of 19-25, 25-19, 25-14 and 25-17.

Hadlee Holt was 36 of 40 hitting with 13 kills for Iroquois/Lake Preston. Bentlee Holt was 22 of 29 with seven kills, while Brityn Davies had four kills on 8 of 10 hits.

Sydney Bonomi was 78 of 79 setting with 27 assists and was 15 of 17 serving with three aces for the Lady Sharks. Alise Hope was perfect on 21 serves with three aces, while Madisen Steffensen was 15 of 15 serving with two aces.

Hadlee Holt finished with 31 digs to lead Iroquois/Lake Preston, while Davies and Steffensen each had 17 digs.

Brookelyn Riedel had 12 kills to lead Oldham-Ramona-Rutland, while Rylan Pearson had five kills, nine assists and an ace. Logyn Reagle, Hattie Hanson and Gabby Pickard each had an ace.

Pickard recorded a team-high 26 digs for the Raiders, while Pearson and Reagle had 16 and 15 digs, respectively.

The two teams will face off again in a Region 2B Tournament play-in match at 6 p.m. Monday in Iroquois.

James Valley Christian 3, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 1
HURON James Valley Christian earned its sixth win of the season Tuesday, when it capped the regular season with a 3-1 victory against Andes Central/Dakota Christian.

The Lady Vikings built a 2-0 lead with set wins of 25-11 and 25-17, before AC/DC posted a 25-21 victory to prolong the match. JVC used a 26-24 victory in the fourth set to end the match.

Addison Kleinsasser was 21 of 24 hitting with seven kills for the Lady Vikings. Kaitlyn Stahl had five kills on 22 of 27 attacks, while Nave Gross was 15 of 19 with three kills.

Stahl converted on 20 of 21 serves with an ace, while Gross ws 14 of 16 serving with three aces and Janiyah Waldner had three aces on 6 of 9 serving.

Dara Olowu-Davies was 125 of 127 setting with 19 assists for JVC. Waldner and Stah had 20 and 13 digs, respectively, while Maria Porter had two blocks.

Lily Muckey had eight kills and five aces for Andes Central/Dakota Christian. Sophia Nelson had 11 assists and Zintkana Irving had 16 digs.

James Valley Christian (6-14) opens the postseason Monday with a Region 2B Tournament playoff game in Wessington Springs against the seventh-seeded Lady Spartans at 7 p.m.
