Ellwein, Chase named All-ESD for Tigers

HURON — A pair of Huron players were selected to the All-Eastern South Dakota Conference boys’ basketball team, which was announced recently.

Earning the honor for the Tigers, who earned the ESD championship for the 2025-26 season, were senior Blake Ellwein and junior Davis Chase.

Also selected to the All-ESD boys’ team were senior Ayuel Deng of Brandon Valley; seniors Crayton Jibben of and Stellen Larson of Harrisburg; senior Colton Smith of Mitchell; juniors Gavin Shawd and Grifin Wiebenga of Tea Area; and seniors Carter Buisker and Jackson McClemans of Watertown.

Sophomore Jackson Kudera of Yankton earned honorable mention.
