WATERTOWN — Senior Alyse Davis led a trio of place winners in the girls’ javelin at the Eastern South Dakota Conference Meet on Saturday.
The top eight finishers in each event earned All-ESD honors.
Davis had a throw of 115 feet, 3 inches, which put her behind Autumn Bryant of Harrisburg, who had the winning throw of 134-3.
Sophomore Maggie Storm turned in a personal best throw of 114-9 to finish fourth for Huron, while senior Hylton Heinz was fifth at 110-4.
Davis also earned All-ESD honors in the shot put with a personal best throw of 36-0 to finish fifth.
Junior Isabelle Kremer was sixth in the discus for Huron at 114-0, while junior Ava Wambach was xith in the 100-meter dash at 12.76 seconds.
The Huron girls were also eighth in the 400 and medley relays.
Reagain Bischoff, Olivia Tschetter, Jayla Schley and Wambach turned in a time of 52.21 in the 400 relay, while Wambach, Bischoff, Tschetter and Chloe Carr turned in a time of 4:37.49 in the medley relay.
Juniors Teagen Lien, Leon Waldner and freshman Carter Porisch all earned a pair of All-ESD honors for Huron.
Lien was fourth in the 300 hurdles at 42.31 and eighth in the 100 hurdles at 16.21. Waldner was fourth in the triple jump at 40-10 and fifth in the lone jump at 20-1.25. Carter Porisch was sixth in the discus at 153-0 and seventh in the shot put at 47-0.5.
Junior Anderson Porisch finished one spot ahead of his brother in the discus, with a throw of 153-7 to finish fifth.
Huron was 10th in both the girls’ and boys’ final team standings.
Harrisburg won the ESD girls’ title with 170.5 points, while Brandon Valley was second at 107.5. Rounding out the top five were Aberdeen Central at 104, Watertown at 96.5; and Yankton at 67.
Brandon Valley had 175 points to edge Harrisburg for the boys’ ESD title. Harrisburg finished at 170.5.
Aberdeen Central was third at 89, followed by Pierre at 77 and Yankton at 54.5.
Huron will close the regular season with the Wendelgass Relays at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tiger Stadium.
