Clark-Willow Lake 65, Florence-Henry 23
HENRY — The Clark-Willow Lake Cyclones scored all the points they would need in the first quarter Tuesday night, racing to a 29-6 lead after the first eight minutes and coasting to a 65-23 boys’ basketball win over the Florence-Henry Falcons.
C-WL stays perfect at 4-0, while the Falcons fall to 3-1.
Grayson Florey led a trio of Cyclones in double figures with 15 points and handed out three assists. Ntai Stevens had 10 points and a game-high seven rebounds, and Micah Burke had 10 points.
Nathan Hulscher had seven points to lead the Falcons and shared rebounding honors with Grant DeWitt, as each F-H player snagged five rebounds.
The Cyclones will host Hamlin on Thursday, in Willow Lake.

Miller 70, Wolsey-Wessington 51
MILLER — The Miller Rustlers broke open a close game in the second half, putting three players in double figures and defeating the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds 70-51 in boys’ basketball action Tuesday night.
The Rustlers, now 3-1, held a 34-32 lead at the half, but opened up a 10-point bulge after three and pulled away for the win. The Warbirds fall to 1-2 on the season.
Steven Fernholz led Miller with 17 points, while Hunter Russell added 16 and Caleb DeBoer chipped in 15 on the night.
Karst Hunter led the rebounders with 11 boards for the Rustlers.
Lynden Williams and Skylar Zomer led Wolsey-Wessington with 11 points each and Tyler Babcock added 10. Brevan Hooks had six rebounds to lead the Warbirds.
Wolsey-Wessington hosts Faulkton Area on Thursday, while the Rustlers will take on Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Dec. 30, in the Huron Holiday Classic.

Dell Rapids St. Mary 63, De Smet 62
DELL RAPIDS — Connor Libis scored 35 points and the Dell Rapids St. Mary Cardinals needed them all, as the Cardinals downed the De Smet Bulldogs 63-62 Tuesday night in boys’ basketball action.
Gage Gruenhagen led a trio of Bulldogs with 17 points, while Zach Wolkow added 16 and Ethan McCoy notched 14.
No other statistics were available for the game. De Smet will visit Miller on Jan. 2.

Iroquois 54, Centerville 45
IROQUOIS — The Iroquois Chiefs broke into the win column Saturday night, with a 54-45 win over the Centerville Tornadoes.
Iroquois improves to 1-1, while Centerville remains winless at 0-3.
The Chiefs streaked to a 17-4 lead after the first quarter and never looked back for the win. Caleb Waldner netted 19 points to lead the Iroquois effort while Gavin Machtemes led the rebounders with nine boards.
Centerville got 21 points from Hunter Ellis and 11 from Hayden Ellis.
Iroquois returned to action Dec. 18 against Menno in the Mitchell Corn Palace.

MITCHELL — A dry second quarter doomed the Iroquois Chiefs Monday night, as they dropped a 59-43, non-conference boys’ basketball game to the Menno Wolves at the Mitchell Corn Palace.
The Wolves held a 14-11 lead after one quarter, but held the Chiefs to only four points in the second quarter, while amassing 14, leading to a 28-15 lead at the half and Menno held the lead the rest of the way.
Spence Schultz scored 23 points and Trey Bohlmann added 17 for the Wolves, who move to 2-1 with the win.
Iroquois, now 1-2, was led by Caleb Waldner and Adam Keating, each with 11 counters.
Iroquois travels to Northwestern on Thursday night.
