The Huron boys’ soccer team closed its season with a 0-0 draw against Harrisburg on Thursday under the lights at Tiger Stadium.

“I’m very proud of this group once again,” Huron coach Leah Branaugh said. “They played a great 80 minutes and left it all on the field.

“We played a whole game against with one substitute and the boys were able to respond,” she said. “They filled gaps on the field and played positions that they weren’t always comfortable in.”

Micah Larson and Eh Ja Beh Win shared time in the net for Huron. Larson finished with four saves, while Win had five saves.

Huron finished the season at 2-9-3.

“The team really came together as the season wound down and for that we are proud,” Branaugh said. “We are thankful for our wonderful seniors in goal – Eh Ja Beh Win and Micah Larson – and in midfield – Pah Ra Sai, Aung Myit and Ta Ha Saw. They will be missed next year.”

Harrisburg finished the regular season at 2-8-4.

In the junior varsity game on Thursday, Harrisburg recorded an 8-0 victory.

Jaxon Andrue had four saves for Huron.
