Many participants braved the stormy weather Saturday, for a Multiple Sclerosis fundraiser walk/run and more, held at the Huron Country Club.

In addition to a one-mile fun walk, there were a 5K and 10K race, a special chipping contest, which was won by Sharri Miner, and many other activities.

According to event coordinators, more than $25,000 was raised at the event, which will go toward research to finding a cure for MS.
