VOLGA — The Sioux Valley Cossacks recorded a sweep against the De Smet Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday to improve to 6-3.
The Cossacks used set scores of 25-18, 25-10 and 25-4 to win the match.
Leading Sioux Valley was Lynsey Stevens with seven aces, and Rachel Miller with 25 assists and four aces. Miakken Vincent had six aces, while Stevens had 10 kills and both Bryan Tvedt and Nikole Ziegler had eight kills.
The Bulldogs, who are now 6-4, were led by Rynn Osthus who had seven assists, and Kristen Poppen with four kills and two blocks. Lyric Gruenhagen had 18 digs while Madi Miller had 15 digs.
