ABERDEEN — The Sioux Falls O’Gorman Knights won the Aberdeen Golf Invite Friday afternoon, finishing with a team score of 328, followed by Aberdeen Central in second place with 338.
Huron finished in fifth place.
O’Gorman had four of the top six finishers in the competition, led by medalist Emily OIson with a 78, while Maddie Otta was third with an 82, Jenna Sutcliffe finished fourth for the Knights with an 84 and Sophia Salter rounded out the OG scoring with an 84.
Aberdeen Central was led by Sydney Wirebaugh with an 80 points, while Cassidy Gough was fifth with an 84.
Huron finished with a team score of 410. Karlie Bigelow led the Tigers with a 95, good for 16th place, while Jayda Shillingstad was two strokes back in 18th.
Mattie Huber shot a 105 and Kenya Bigelow carded a 113 to round out the Huron scoring..
The Tigers will host the Huron Invitational next Thursday at Broadland Creek Golf Course.
