HURON — Sioux Falls Washington took home the cheer competition and Brandon Valley won the grand champion dance at the Huron Invite Tuesday at the Huron Arena.
Seven teams competed in dance and five in cheer on the evening. Brandon Valley narrowly defeated Sioux Falls Washington in the dance competition with an overall score of 361.50 to 355.75.
In the cheer competition, Washington fairly handily took the cheer title with a 256.50 score.
Huron’s cheer team finished with a 210 score and the dance team recorded a score of 287.
