HURON — Dakota Wesleyan University men’s head golf coach Tom Hoek recently announced the newest member of his program, as Huron golfer Nolan Wiegel has committed to compete at DWU, beginning in the 2018-2019 season.
Wiegel joins the Tiger golf squad from Huron, where he competed for six years. He was named to the All-ESD Team four times, as well as to the All-State Team four times. He also was tabbed with All-Tournament Team honors once, while medaling 33 different times on the varsity golf team.
“We couldn’t be more excited to add Nolan to our program,” Hoek said. “He has the character and competitiveness to fit right in and make an impact on our men’s team.”
