LAKE PRESTON — The second-ranked and undefeated Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Cardinals spoiled Lake Preston homecoming Friday with a 50-0 rout of the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks in Lake Preston.

The Cardinals (6-0) rolled up 324 yards rushing as part of 354 total yards. Quarterback Trimmier Hanson threw for 30 yards on 3 of 4 passing with a touchdown and also led DRSM with 139 yards rushing on five carries, scoring one touchdown on the ground. He also returned a punt 69 yards for a score.

Lincoln LeBrun ran six times for 65 yards and two touchdowns and Jacob Flemmer toted the ball twice for 18 yards and a touchdown.

Ben Curd led the Sharks, now 1-4, with 18 yards on 11 carries.

The Sharks will travel to Arlington Friday.
