HURON — James Valley Christian improved to 6-3 with a 9-0 victory against Hot Springs on Friday at JVC Field.

Jonah Niederbaumer inked the shutout in the net for the Vikings. He had three saves, including a diving stop late in the game to preserve the shutout.

Isaac Fast had three of the nine goals for JVC and also had an assist.

Noah Fast and Cole Anderson each had a pair of goals for the Vikings.

Gavin Waldner had a goal and three assists, while Keeghann Hood had a goal and an assist.

JVC returned to action Saturday against Custer at JVC Field.
